Meet Our Team

Steven Gregory, CPA, MBA

Steven is the co-founder of the firm with over 20 years of experience. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.B.A. in Accounting and Master of Business Administration. Steven later earned his CPA designation, and has recently acquired his Series 7 & 66 licenses. He has worked in different areas throughout the years ranging from audit to managing small businesses. In 2006, he started his own accounting firm in Murfreesboro, providing accounting, tax and business planning to local individuals and businesses. In 2012, Steven and his college friend, Cameron, decided to merge their respective accounting firms to form Ray & Gregory, PC with offices located in Murfreesboro and Tullahoma. Steve's primary focus is tax planning, preparation, and business consulting to his clients in such fields as construction, retail, and medical.

Steven is married to Sheree and has one daughter. He enjoys traveling, sports, and hiking.

Cameron Ray, CPA/PFS, MBA

Cameron Ray is a principal and co-founder of the firm with 20+ years of experience in public accounting. He has obtained the CPA/ PFS designation and holds Series 7 & 66 licenses which uniquely qualify him to advise clients in topics ranging from estate planning to personal investing. Also, his educational background includes both a B.B.A in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. Cameron practices in the areas of tax compliance, financial planning, financial reporting, and business consulting. His high client retention rate highlights his communication skills, technical expertise, and approachability.

Cameron is married to Michelle and has two daughters. He enjoys traveling, hiking, and learning new technologies (fancy phrase for plays on his iPad too much).

Laura Colyar

Laura Colyar is the personal assistant to Cameron Ray, CPA. She joined Ray & Gregory, PC in 2014 to provide administrative assistance in accounting and investments. Laura provides communication and support between staff, clients, government entities, and product sponsors. She strives to keep the office organized, prioritized, and stress free.

Laura resides in Tullahoma with her husband. She has three children and two grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Connie Estep

Connie Estep joined the staff of Ray & Gregory in May 2017. As a part-time employee, she currently processes payroll for clients and assists with various receptionist duties. Connie is a Tullahoma resident and attended Motlow State Community College pursuing Medical Record Administration and Biology.

Connie is an avid runner, participating in 5K's, half marathons and a destination run each year. Aside from running, Connie enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes.

Pam Howard

Pam Howard is a senior accountant at Ray & Gregory, PC. She was one of the original employees of Anchor Accounting & Financial Services, joining Cameron when he started the firm in 1999. She obtained a B.B.A. in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University. Pam provides a variety of services including monthly bookkeeping; payroll and payroll reports; sales tax returns; financial statements; and assisting in tax return preparation.

In her free time, Pam enjoys spending time with her children, running, and baseball.

Spencer Jackson

Spencer Jackson is a staff accountant at Ray & Gregory, PC. He obtained a B.B.A. in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University. Spencer has been with the firm since August 2015, and enjoys helping clients with their bookkeeping needs.

In his free time, Spencer enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching reruns of Walker, Texas Ranger.

Karen Moran

Karen Moran is a staff accountant at Ray & Gregory, PC. She obtained a B.B.A. in Accounting from Tennessee Technological University, and joined Ray & Gregory, PC in 2012. Prior to her time here, she worked in private industry as Plant Accountant for 15 years. Karen has years of experience in posting transactions, payroll processing, and financial reporting. She ensures clients' bookkeeping needs are met.

Karen has been married to Steve Moran for 20 years and has two children, Will and Anna. Will is a freshman at Tennessee Technological University, studying Civil Engineering. Anna is a junior at Tullahoma High School with aspirations of becoming a 3rd grade teacher. In her free time, she enjoys watching her children play sports, walking, kayaking, and reading. Karen recently completed her first half marathon.

Jacqueline Ray

Jacqueline Ray is the receptionist of the Tullahoma office of Ray & Gregory, PC. She has worked as the receptionist since August 2016. Her educational background includes an associate's degree from Motlow State Community College and Daymar Institute. She enjoys being at the front desk and assisting clients in any way possible.

In her free time, Jacqueline enjoys working out and spending time with family and friends

Michelle Ray

Michelle Ray is the office manager at Ray & Gregory, PC. She graduated from Motlow State Community College with an associate's degree in business. Michelle has been a member of the firm for 18 years, and has performed a variety of tasks, such as bookkeeping and tax preparation. Her broad range of experience throughout the firm makes her an integral resource to clients and coworkers alike.

Michelle is married to Cameron and has two daughters. She enjoys cooking, traveling and decorating.

Rhonda Ray

Rhonda Ray has been with Ray & Gregory, PC for five years. She has held several positions over her time with the firm, but has now transitioned to working part time. Her experience in different aspects of the firm makes her a vital resource for the front desk.

Rhonda's hobbies include helping her husband Virgil build houses, working on rental properties, and helping her two sons however she can. Her joy in life is being with her grandchildren and future grandson-in-law.

Amy Rowe

Amy Rowe is a bookkeeper at Ray & Gregory, PC with 30+ years of experience. She is a lifelong resident of Murfreesboro, attending both Riverdale High School and Middle Tennessee State University. Amy's vast experience helps her assist clients with their bookkeeping needs in many different types of businesses.

In her free time, Amy enjoys gardening, monogramming, watching UK basketball, and spending time with her three daughters.
